OAK is pleased to announce the appointment of Zeyad Abdelwahab as its newest Research Software Engineer. Zeyad has worked for the Group over the summer and is due to commence full-time employment on 3 September 2018. Zeyad's tells us the following about himself:
"I am from Egypt (Cairo). I received my BSc in Computer Engineering from the American University in Cairo in 2017. I am going to finish my MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Sheffield in September 2018. I have been working for the OAK Group as a Research Software Engineer since March 2018. I enjoy visiting new places and meeting new friends. I also love swimming, boxing and sarcasm".

We are delighted to welcome Matthew Barber to the Team as Research Software Engineer in Mobile Computing. Matt joined us in August 2018 and provides the following brief biography:
"I was born in Chertsey (London), but spent most of my childhood in a small village near Peterborough (Cambridgeshire). I received my MComp in Computer Science from the University of Sheffield in 2018. Since then I have been working for the OAK group as a Research Software Engineer in Mobile Computing. I also dedicate some of my spare time to hardware and electronics work to further hone my skills. I enjoy wildlife photography, as well as playing video games with friends. I also have an interest in tanks and other tracked combat vehicles." |
